WordPress allows you to upload a header but not a logo. This means you have to resort to all sorts of trickery in order to make the header behave like a logo. We think it should be easy to upload a logo to the left hand side of your header – quite separately from the header itself.
The logo should be a foreground image, be clickable and should not have any H1 text (that has been hidden by CSS) associated with it. The plugin will remove the hidden text just in case there is some SEO risk. (Hidden text is against Google’s guidelines.)
By using the plugin to deal with your logo, you avoid all of the above.
This Genesis Club Pro site is of course using the plugin to place its own logo. But our logo is not very big, so you will not see it behave responsively – because it always fits on the screen.
In this demo video, I use another slightly bigger logo to show you the responsive behaviour.
